Stylianos Tilavgis
Associate Advocate – Corporate & Commercial
Stylianos practises in corporate, commercial, finance and real estate law, with a particular interest in corporate governance and the intersection of law and technology, supported by an LL.M. in Corporate Law from University College London and an LL.B. from the University of Cyprus.
He advises companies and investors on company law matters, commercial agreements and day-to-day corporate advisory work, and assists on financing and real estate transactions in Cyprus, including the related due diligence and filings with the Registrar of Companies.
Experience
- Assisting on the incorporation of Cyprus companies and on their ongoing corporate administration and filings with the Registrar of Companies.
- Advising on company law matters, including directors' duties and corporate governance.
- Advising on the legal implications of artificial intelligence (AI) implementation in corporate environments, including corporate governance and directors' duties.
- Assisting in the preparation of shareholders' agreements, share transfers and related corporate documentation.
- Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements for corporate clients.
- Assisting private clients and private offices with corporate, real estate and other transactional matters.
- Assisting on real estate transactions, including sale agreements and related due diligence.
- Conducting legal research and preparing opinions and memoranda on corporate, banking and regulatory issues.
